Stalker

Imagine yourself sitting alone at the rocky ocean edge of an island just after the sun has gone down. As you're gazing off into the horizon, you think you notice something out of the corner of your eye. So you look down and spot some stirring in the water near the shore. The stirring becomes startlingly violent until suddenly small writhing feelers begin to emerge from the water.
These curious and ever moving feelers reveal a connection to what appears to be the brain like matter of a swollen head with two dark beady eyes that stare into your soul. You body goes stiff with fear from the cold slimy touch of the one that's crept up behind you, and your grip of reality rapidly slips into a new state of perpetual insanity...
